CERT MAC Task Force

The Medicare A/B Contractor CERT Task Force is a joint effort from Medicare Parts A and B Administrative Contractors (MACs) to communicate issues of concern regarding improper payments to the Medicare program. By working together to educate Medicare providers on topics affecting them most, the group shares the goal of reducing the national improper payment rate as measured by the Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) program. The education is intended to complement ongoing efforts of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Medicare Learning Network (MLN), and the MACs' error-reduction activities within their jurisdictions.

Palmetto GBA has designated task force members and will be sharing CERT Task Force education material as it becomes available.
